Get Involved
You can help African children get shoes, and help people create jobs for themselves through learning how to make shoes, by helping Sole Hope in these ways:
Make a Donation or Sponsor Shoes
Put your treasure where your heart is. We make it easy to give. Just click below to give generously or to sponsor shoes for a child or several children in Africa. A donation of $10 means that a child in Zambia or Uganda will get a pair of closed toe shoes. And, sponsoring shoes for a child today ensures our shoe makers will have work tomorrow. Make a generous donation today!
Donating Monthly
Your monthly donation helps our organization plan and grow. Recurring donations create momentum so that Sole Hope can continue to fulfill the mission of offering HOPE to widows, orphans and others by teaching the simple trade of shoe making which provides jobs and shoes to those in need. Make your generous donation now!
Become a Volunteer or Host a Shoe Cutting Party
We need you! Host a shoe cutting party in your home, organization, or church. We will send you everything you need to organize and host a shoe cutting party where you will have the chance to cut out shoe uppers that will be taken to Africa, sewn by Sole Hope shoemakers for a fair wage and then put on a child's foot who cannot afford a pair of shoes. Order a shoe party packet here and for more info email Sara Lynn at SaraLynn@solehope.com . We’ll also be offering volunteer days very soon, so sign up here if you want to receive notice of upcoming opportunities.
Join Us for a Working Trip
What a great way to see Africa! Join us for a trip to Zambia or Uganda. For more information email us at info@solehope.com. You will get a chance to serve for others, love on children, and encourage our men and women who are making shoes.
Internships in the U.S. and in Africa
If Sole Hope’s mission speaks to your heart, you may want to consider an internship with us. These are unpaid, but college credit is available. Internships are available in Asheville, NC, and in Zambia and Uganda. Find out more about both our US internships and Africa Internships.
